How did you start surfing: Wanted to have a break from competitive sport so thought I would start surfing. Um the family moved house close to the beach and I made some mates round where I live and they all surfd so I jst tagged along

New Zealand teams: Worlds 2007, Worlds 2008
Career highlight: 3rd at the ISA World Junior Surfing Championships in Portugal 2007

Main surf breaks: Tay Street, Island and couple of secrete spots
Favorite surf break: Any were that's pumping!! Na Matakana and the Blowy when its on!

How did you start surfing: I was in surf lifesaving since age 5 and did boogie boarding so surfing seemed a natural progression. Hooked from day 1.
Surfing competitively since: local boardriders since 12. First main comps ( Billabong, Nationals) at 13 Competition strategy: Try to go for the best waves in the set and do as many good manoeuvres as I can. Surf my best, not worry about who's in the heat
New Zealand teams: 2008 Junior Worlds
Career highlight: This year winning the Nationals U16s and King of the Groms , plus Billabong series and also winning a Corona U18 series at Raglan Ambitions: I'd like to do some Pro Juniors in Aussie next year, maybe take a gap year after 7th form to continue this, then WQS and WCT, University marketing degree somewhere along the way Main surf breaks: Tay St, Matakana, Raglan Favourite surf break: Matakana when its good and Whanga Bar
