New
for 2012: The Shonan
This is a small machine, low rocker
and a full outline with a slight single
concave into a vee double concave, a
flatish deck but with a low rail for
bite. The outline is a double wing round
tail with four channells to give it
a really fast smooth feel. Round tail
or a swallow . Fins can be thruster,
Quard or both this board is a capital
F for fun. Ride 4 to 5 inches than normal
board. |

2011
- Matts boards have changed a bit
this year with more volume , He rides
a 5`9`` swallow tail 18 1/2 wide and
with a wider nose and slighty thicker
rail in the nose and just slight changes
in the rocker and concaves for smaller
waves. His main board which is 5`10``
sq tail has also gone the same way
with more area in the outline and
in the rail in the nose and has a
deeper single concave and rocker than
his swallow. We are always making
slight changes in his rocker and bottom
contours but his main change is getting
more volume in the right places.Matt
uses future fins as he feels they
feel abit more solid off the board.

This design has a deepish single concave
with double concave inside it through
the fins.
Low rails and a medium nose rocker
with medium to high tail rocker and
a straighter outline to give you a
fast loose board with good drive for
carvy rail turns but it will still
get you in the air.

4 fin: |
 |
I
put a full single concave through the
bottom with a hip in the outline in
front of the fins and a curvey tail
rocker for release. I find the four
fin to be very quick of the mark and
feel great in the tube as the can sit
up higher. They are not as snappy as
a thruster but still feel great just
a different feel.

The
White Bait:5`9`` x 19 1/8``x 2 1/4``
|
|
|
The
white bait has had a few changes over
the last year, i`ve added a light hip
to give it abit more outline curve and
the single concave it slightly less
but the double is deeper but the rocker
is the same, the changes have made it
fewer to turn but still keeper that
great speed that the first white bait
had. Ive got one in my quiver and love
it from 2ft to 4ft.

Getting
more popular as of late, this design
is ordered 3 to 4 inches shorter 1/2"
wider and 1/8" thicker. It has
a flat deck with laid over rails for
bite. The slight step at eye level when
paddling, takes out all extra foam out
of the nose that you get from fatter
boards. The bottom has a slight single
concave then vee from fins back with
deep double concaves to vee at the tail
pod. Fin set up can be quad or thruster
with tail shape being swallow with or
without wings or round tail. They paddle
unreal, are stable, very fast and loose;
great for having fun in small waves
with performance in mind.

ROUND
NOSE FISH
The round nose fish has more of a fuller
nose outline and straighter tail outline
to give it abit more drive. The bottom
is a single concave with a deep double
to vee off the tail. The fin set up can
be thruster with same size fins or big
front fins and small trailer, 4 fins
or a 5 fin set up for more variations.
A slightly flatter deck with a layed
over rail gives a stabble deck and a
rail that really bites in.

5`8``x201/2``x2
3/8`` All the fishes have the sort of
bottom contour with a low nose rocker
leading into a single concave to the
front fins to vee from the last 6``
of the board. We have put a double concave
through the fin area which helps the
change from single to vee. This makes
a very fast easy paddling board with
speed over flat sections but with the
vee off the tail really free`s it up
and stops that tracky down the line
fealing.A flatter deck with a layed
over rail for hold. Fins can be thruster
with different size fins, twins, or
Quards.

semi fish: |

A
full outline with a semi wide swallow,
low nose rocker with medium tail rocker.
A medium deep single concave to front
fins into vee through to tail. A slight
deck roll and full rails gives an
easy-paddling stable board, but still
with a loose tail. This design can
be ordered smaller, same, or longer
than your normal board depending on
what you want out of it.

| Allrounder:
This board is design as it says for
the person who has only one board, it
has a low to medium nose curve to help
with catching waves with a slight flick
in the last 3 to 4 inchs to help in
hollower waves. The tail curve is a
meduim curve just enough to free tail
but still give drive with a slight single
concave deepening through the fins with
a double concave inside it. rail med
boxy. Size range 5`10`` to 6`6`` |

BIG DON 8'0" |
This
is the same as the don but more what
the name say for the bigger don they
are usually 8` or 8` 2`` and have
the same bottom as the don but are
wider and thicker unless you want
a spice it up with more tail rocker
and get more performance and little
less area in the tail for hold. Fins
can be FCS, future or glass on. Rail
thickness depends on surfers weight
and ability.

UNDIE`S 500 |
 |
| This
design is acouple of years old which
has progressed from the start to get
a lovely rail to rail flowing board
that will cruise over flat section with
flow in smallish waves but will also
handle good waves just as well. It has
a full outline and a flatish rocker
with a light to average vee with a dble
concave from entry rocker to fading
out to the tail through the vee.Good
for a surfer who wants a semi fish type
board that will handle a wide range
of waves. Can be with a swallow tail
or round tail with 3, 4 or 5 fin set
up. |
